About me

I am an educator and instructional designer with a Doctorate in Education (Curriculum & Instruction) and extensive experience in digital pedagogy, instructional design, and teacher education. I am passionate about preparing both students and educators to thrive in digitally enhanced learning environments through thoughtful, inclusive, and research-informed practice.

My work is grounded in a strong commitment to inclusion, diversity, and technology leadership. I design learning experiences that not only meet academic and professional standards but also empower learners to become confident, reflective, and ethical leaders in their own educational journeys. I am particularly interested in how digital tools can be used to foster equity, engagement, and meaningful participation for diverse learners.

With a background in teaching English for academic and test purposes to international students, I bring deep expertise in supporting learners from varied linguistic, cultural, and educational backgrounds. My instructional practice emphasises curriculum design that promotes belonging, accessibility, and academic success across online, blended, and face-to-face contexts.

My teaching, training, and design work explores how emerging technologies—including AI-powered tools and immersive learning environments such as the Metaverse—can expand access, enhance learning, and support innovative pedagogical approaches for both educators and students.

I am the recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2024–2025) and the Julius P. Filcik Doctoral Fellowship (2022–2023). I was also recognised by IUP’s Center for Multicultural Student Leadership and Engagement for outstanding leadership and service during the 2021–2022 academic year.
